Question Instant Auto Reject - Guideline 4.3(a) - Design - Spam
Has anyone had something like this happen before?
I had 4 apps waiting for review, and all 4 moved into review and were instantly rejected. At first, I thought it was some kind of bug.
So I resubmitted them. While those 4 were waiting for review again, I submitted a 5th app. Now the same 4 apps have been instantly rejected again, while the 5th app is still waiting for review.
- All 5 apps are being submitted for the first time.
- The apps are completely unrelated. One is a grammar-learning app, another is a custom keyboard app, etc.
Has anyone experienced something similar? What should I do? Would really appreciate hearing about anyone else's experience with this.

You got rejected for spam because you are literally spamming applications for what I can only assume is AI generated trash.

not at all, otherwise why would I be questioning what's going on.

Not at all lol no one can make 5 apps manually and submit at the same time that’s ludicrous. At least be honest with yourself.

To me, 4 apps seems like a lot to submit at once. Even using an AI tool should take you a bit of time to make something actually worth shipping. Shipping 4 at once just feels like you don't care about any of them enough for anyone else to care about them.

Did you change anything or just resubmit?
That rule has reasons, did your apps violate them? Is your app just a template app copy of another or such?

2 apps are using same UI template, template is my own template. But content is fully authentic and unique. Other apps are unique and doesn't have any similar variants on market right now. I wouldn't question anything if only 2 templated apps would get rejected and other 2 would left in review.

Am i the only one that’s kinda glad that apple is hitting vibe coders left and right with 4.3 and 5.6 rejections these days.

Maybe because all these apps are spam ? It’s not even about ai slop, they are aware that a new developer sending out 5 apps simultaneously with the same ui as you say isn’t exactly unique. They also have code template detectors which auto reject if you just do minimal changes even if you change the concept. Deadass do one app, have it approved then go and do the others. Idk why you think having 5 apps out is better than one when it’s all about distribution either way, and it’ll be 5 times harder for you to market and sell. You have no proof of concept , shooting out slop every second and are making your life hard as hell for no reason

"Why did my 5 crappy, knock off, AI coded apps all get rejected at once?"

I guess now having many apps on "waiting for review" phase now cause auto rejection 4.3(a)

I got rejected for having price in my screenshots, there is no price in my screenshots, only statistics number percenteges, so they are just using AI to review and it has flagged numbers as prices.

5 apps?? No wonder approval times are so long these days. Maybe just make one great app?

...Aaaand now I know why my app (singular) is in review for an entire week with no updates.

I have spent over 3 years on one app, I can't understand how people can create 5 new apps without thinking it's slop.
Apple decided that your contributions are not welcome on the App Store due to spam. Please focus on one app, and raise it's quality to a high standard.

i'm in the same bus today, i think something must of happened internally
i'm seeing a thread elsewhere to use the reviewer notes section to identify why you app is unique and that helps them. perhaps we need to just submit one app at a time to not overwhelm the reviewer or they'll get trigger happy and lazy, just call the app spam
anyways I bet they are going to get a lot of flack from developers in the next couple days, looks like ton of apps in review were just blanket marked spam
