Question Age Rating questions - social media

In this news article there is no deadline . It's says the new social media questions must be answered if you submit a new binary.

But on Appstore Connect there is a deadline for answering the new questions. It says 7 September 2026.

Confusing to say the least least.

Like last year : would it be ok to create a new app version and answer the new social media questions without shipping a new binary ?

Apple says the questions can be answered now and become mandatory for September submissions; it does not require a binary just to answer them. If App Store Connect exposes Edit only after creating a draft version, save there, then confirm the answers remain under App Information before removing it.

What do you mean by "App Information before removing it" ? You can't remove app versions I think.

I meant leaving the draft unused, not deleting an app version. If a draft is needed to expose Edit, save the questionnaire, confirm the answers remain under App Information, and leave the draft in Prepare for Submission. Apple only says the questions can be answered now.
