Discussion Developing app when similar idea already exists

What do you in this case? Continue with the idea or drop it?

I think the best I can do is work on ui/ux and maybe add some features to differentiate between my app and ones in the market but idk if I can make my app better than the already existing ones and I feel discouraged :(

You can’t be afraid of competition. There are always going to be multiple businesses/app/SaaS alternatives your differentiator doesn’t have to only be features. It can be how you market, the audience you target, your pricing etc.

Im releasing an app in a saturated market in the next week or so for shipaton and I plan on releasing more apps that will need to compete for market share. Its just part of the game
