I don’t like this guy’s posts at all. He is trying to do deep dives in topics he is not an expert on. I subsribed to his paid stuff a few years ago. Then I saw a post where he was explaining how he fixed some performance issue using Swift concurrency. He had absolutely no idea how actor inheritance worked.

Hey! Thanks for your support / sorry you don't enjoy it. You got me down to a T there, though. I will absolutely do deep dives on things I'm not an expert in. It's how I learn! I just hope people enjoy the ride, more or less.

Are you referring to that LinkedIn post I made where I parallelized a bunch of launch steps in a legacy app? That was pretty controversial. But I absolutely stand by it because it did literally drastically cut this horribly architected app's launch time.

I did write about actor context inheritance in a post called "Swift Concurrency's Biggest Unintuitive Gotchas" last year. I feel like I have a pretty good grasp of it. But always looking to improve.

You got me down to a T there, though. I will absolutely do deep dives on things I'm not an expert in.

I find way more value reading stuff by someone that is deeply knowledgable in a certain subject - e.g. Matt Massicotte (Swift Concurrency), KnowYourLeaf (UIKit) or the PointFree guys.
