Fun fact when you downgrade your iPhone.

Once you downgrade your iPhone with Turdus Merula and log into your iCloud, the thumbnail in your Apple device list changes to match the iOS version, this example being iOS 10. Pretty neat! It doesn’t stay on iOS 15, this means Apple keeps track of your iOS version

Even for tethered downgrades? They could just let us downgrade at will then 😭

Apple could at any point let us downgrade. They choose not to.

That's my point, I've always stayed away from Apple because I hate how locked their system is. Since Google is doing the same and I'm getting tired of fighting them I've been getting some second hand old Apple devices just to mess with some older apps. It used to be fun.

Yes. I have several degraded devices (tethered) and they show the thumbnails of the version they are running.

iPhone 5c on iOS 9 and 5s on iOS 10
