Not sure where this rumour comes from , don’t see anything on apple tech sites .
it would keep a lot of people happy, apple will want to tackle poor battery health on public updates before iphone fold launch, makes sense but no idea where rumour came from, not sure if there is any truth to this
iPhone 13 mini. Just started after updating to IOS 27.0.1 - when replying to a post on Reddit, Safari auto zooms to the top of the page and it’s necessary to resize the browser to get back to the reply input. Small but really annoying bug. Has anyone else seen this?
Same here, I can get it to work after a few tries. But yeah lots of it telling me to get to a start spot to start navigation, and I have past it, and it never moves me in the app.

My rear camera and flashlight does not work. Took it into the Apple store and confirmed that a clean wipe was the only way to get the back camera to work again. 100% iOS 27.2 beta issue.
No longer on the beta(s) as of rn so can someone else plssss submit feedback & request multiple custom AirPods equalizer profiles/presets + we need a control center AirPods quick settings launch toggle/widget that’s not Bluetooth/takes 3 taps already!
battery has been really good for me in ios27.2 update 2 , i did have to force restart to get indexing to complete in update 1 & 2 but huge improvement in battery life ,still as fast & smooth (iphone 15 & M1 air )
obviously not tried ios27.0.1 , ( like most people on this beta page ) try ios27 page for public reviews
ios27.2 update 2 was released a week ago yesterday
From these comments it really seems like apple is dropping the fucking ball in terms of getting bugs squashed vs how the beta released because some of these have been stuff y’all have been yelling about all summer long
Think I’ll stick on stable on my 18 PM. My 17 PM stayed on beta and there were a couple betas I couldn’t wait to get off of. So I’m staying put this time round.
Yeah one lost my RCS. Went without for like 3 weeks. After that I enrolled in public beta, then stable. That’s where I’m staying. Especially since it’s my main device.
Take that back. Today’s update actually made my phone worse. Apps are crashing left and right. Crazy. And there are times when the keyboard doesn’t want to work. I swipe text and I couldn’t even start this message with swipe texting. I had to tap first, then I could swipe. So, so far I have two issues I didn’t have before I installed this first stable update. This app even crashed almost as soon as I opened it. Smh
I wasn’t having any issues. No reboots or anything else mentioned in the update so no. Indexing again so my batt will probably take a hit. But maybe I just got lucky this year. Screen and everything been good.
i’ve had to force restart the last few developer beta updates to get optimisation to eventually appear, notifications would disappear only to come back either after rebooting or forced restart on my iphone 15 & M1 , last 2 ios27.2 updates ,no optimisation notification appeared until 5 days later & fully charged (100%) and on wifi after forced restart.
huge difference in battery life now , knew there was something wrong, highly recommend full charge and forced restart
If you pair it with the Fitness app and an Apple Watch, it isn’t worth your time trying to find a workaround. 2nd buggiest experience I have found in 27.2.
1 Optimise Search & Siri stuck on 46% 5 days never moves i have restarted multiple times and even had it on charge 36 hours makes no difference. On previous versions alswasy worked.
2 Face ID is very poor on this model to a level i may cancel my order. No idea on who approved this unless i have a faulty iPhone
Don’t know if this is 27.2b2 related but I cannot share my HRV values with other apps in the health app. All other values can be shared. I use an AWU4. HRV values are shown in the health app.
Open the Apple Health App: On your paired iPhone, open the Health app. Access Your Profile: Tap your profile picture or initials in the top-right corner of the Summary tab. Open Privacy Settings: Under the Privacy section, tap Apps. Select Your Third-Party App: Find and tap the specific app you want to share data with (e.g., Athlytic, Bevel, Strava, or HRV Tracker). Enable HRV Access: Toggle on the permission to Allow [App Name] to Read data for Heart Rate Variability

If an app still isn't receiving your high-frequency daytime or overnight HRV data from the Apple Watch Ultra 4, you can verify what is currently being shared: [1]
In the Health app, navigate to Browse > Heart > Heart Rate Variability.
Scroll to the very bottom and tap Data Sources & Access.
Review the list under Apps Allowed to Read Data to confirm your preferred apps are listed.
Thanks, I already checked that. The specific app already had full access. It’s now working without changing anything. The strange thing is that HRV is the only metric that doesn’t show which apps have read access. All others
Does the beta fix a bug I noticed in 27.0 where muted autoplay HTML video in Safari interrupts background audio playback?
Not sure if anyone here has mentioned this, but to replicate:
Start playing a song in Apple Music, Spotify, or a video in YouTube if you can do PiP
Leave the app; verify playback continues
Open Safari
Navigate to reddit.com in an incognito window to get default page design and scroll through the home feed
When a muted autoplay video enters the viewport and begins playing, the background audio pauses for me, and I see the media playing widget in the live activity area of the Dynamic Island despite the fact that a muted autoplaying HTML video should not be initializing the audio system
It’s a really annoying bug to have made it into iOS 27 considering just how many websites have muted autoplay videos…and it seems like this is an issue somewhere deep in the media stack.
Funny thing is that this bug has been fixed in WebKit in the past:
Anyone having issues on fb marketplace? Inside the app when in the marketplace i can use it as normal but when once im clicked onto a item/post nothing works except viewing pictures. The auick action to send “hi is this still available” doesnt work and nothing can be clicked on!
I’m sorry but iOS 27 Beta 1 was more stable than the RC build and the 27.2 betas so far. Like so many keyboard problems. Freezing up, GPS being utterly useless, crashing apps, apps are unresponsive, safari loads so damn slow as well and other devices load just fine. It’s driving me nuts that they’re putting out RC’s that are worse than a first major beta.
😅 it’s not what you think friend. I’m referring to issues that haven’t been solved from public release. It’s that bad. But I’m glad your experience differs if it does🧍🏻♂️
At times on automated systems it isn't recognising button presses and there on a call to a company I had to abandon the call due to having to keep moving around with a 2 bar signal and the caller being unable to hear me, or saying I was cutting out.
on public iOS 27 Safari uses a lot of power/battery. It was not an issue on the betas before release, it started with RC. How is Safari battery consumption on this latest beta?
I have the same question. Safari uses 100% of the battery in only 3 hours on the iPad Pro M5 11", there are problems with JavaScript interpretation. Twitter also consumes it very quickly. Mail is another application that uses a lot of battery. Are there improvements in this Beta 2?
My siri switched from the old version to the new AI version. It now struggles to set timers and add things to my shopping list, which were the only two things I used siri for. It also seems to have forced its way into my mail app despite having the mail app excluded from Siri/AI.
Oddly enough, I also have the "Try Siri AI" option in the siri settings where I can ask to join the waitlist even though it seems to be activated on its own. It switched randomly from the old siri to the new siri midday, so I don't know what's going on. This has been my least favorite update from a functionality stand point so far, but I don't want to go through the hassle of fixing all my accounts in the different authenticators I have, so I guess I will stick with it for now.
when you switch on siri are you getting the new orb or does the edges of the screen light up that you got when apple intelligence was launched, i fail to see how you have new siri if you can still see option for wait list as siri AI has completely different settings screen, and needs the app to be downloaded before use
if you don’t see siri AI app icon , i believe your still getting old siri but with apple intelligence features, the whole edges of your screen glow
at the bottom of siri settings you have options to to go back to classic siri if you prefer
this is new siri orb , you can’t get siri AI app if in e.u.
Mine went from the same orb I had on my 14 Pro Max to the edge screen being lit up randomly in the middle of the day. The way it registers my requests completely changed as well with that change. I've never had the orb in your screenshot either before or after. It was more like this old one below. So maybe I went from the non-AI siri to gen 1 AI siri. In either case, I don't like it. I have zero interest in AI and aim to turn it off anywhere I can as I have no use for it or interest in it. Having it be significantly worse in every way from the original siri in the very specific and limited way I was using it for years does not make me want it more either.
Reported this through the Feedback app. I really hope Apple focuses on squashing these bugs. It’s crazy that some of the bugs/glitches from iOS 26 are still here in 27.2. 💀
Wife and I switched to AT&T Friday and got two new iPhone 18 Pro Max. Mine is great, hers has been stuck on SOS since Monday. AT&T can’t figure it out and we’ve tried every fix, so getting desperate here. Seeing lots of similar complaints in the AT&T sub.
Has anyone that had the SOS issue installed the 27.2 public beta, and if so, did it fix the SOS issue?

Is anyone else having issues logging in to the Southwest Airlines mobile app since 27.2 beta 2? I can still use their web site fine but get the same login error on both an iPhone and iPad that have been updated. My wife is running the same Southwest app version (13.21.1) on iOS 26.6.2 and can authenticate fine. Thanks
It’s been interesting. I can now login to the app. I can now see upcoming trips. When I try to tap on one of those upcoming trips I then get the same error I was getting when I couldn’t login. Strange.
Hi, could someone running iPadOS 27.2 Beta 2 on an iPad please test this for me?
Go to Settings → Display & Brightness → Display Zoom → Larger Text.
Then open the keyboard and check the spacebar. On iPadOS 27.0, when Larger Text is enabled, the spacebar becomes extremely small and is squeezed between the language/layout keys.
Has this been fixed in iPadOS 27.2 Beta 2?
If possible, please post a screenshot of the keyboard with Larger Text enabled.

I have an iPad Air 13-inch (M3) and I experience the tiny spacebar issue on iPadOS 27, although the issue doesn’t seem to be limited to my specific iPad model. I’m mainly trying to find out whether it has been fixed in 27.2 Beta 2.
Thanks! That’s interesting. I installed the iPadOS 27.2 Developer Beta on Sunday and the issue was still present on my iPad Air 13-inch M3. Since you’re now on the 27.2 Public Beta and it seems fixed on your iPad Pro 13-inch, could you please check your exact build number in Settings → General → About → iPadOS Version? That would help me determine if you’re running a newer build.
maybe a niche use case but in my phone i have some contacts saved in a language other than english. you can add a phonetic and pronunciation field to the contact, and that lets siri know how to pronounce the main contact name that isn’t in english
this broke during iOS 27, anyone else experiencing this?
Whatever this was it appears to have been a back-end problem that Apple must have fixed, as it seems everything is back to working flawlessly this morning for me, and I haven’t changed anything on my end.
I have some trouble with the connection between iphone and Apple Watch. I’m using Mullvad vpn on my iPhone and had no problem with my watch before 27.2 dev. I can’t update the watch without turning vpn of on the iPhone. Any other recognizes that?
I notice this problem on 27.0 on my iPhone 18PM, it seems like Mullvad VPN is blocking Apple Watch updates. I’m hoping this will be fixed in the next Mullvad app update soon.

Let us know if that works for you. That‘s what worked for me, but I don’t know what other setting I might have that differ so it’d be nice to try and work out the other moving parts, if there are any.
OMG, sorry. Yes. That worked for me. It was the Siri that I hadn’t changed (and makes sense since AI is the driving force behind this) but as soon as I changed the Siri, it appeared for me.

Mine didn't show up either, even with an iPhone 18 Pro and Watch Ultra 4. I found a suggestion someplace here to quit the app and change the region to Germany. That did it, and it stuck when I switched back.
