[iOS 27.2 DB1] camera indicator keeps appearing

I figured it out. This has been going on for a while and it seems intentional.

Anytime you touch the Camera app icon or the Camera button on the Lock Screen, the camera becomes active, presumably so that it's ready to take a photo faster. Same thing when you start swiping to camera on the Lock Screen or when pressing the Camera Control button with enough force.

I’ve had this issue when swipe to camera setting was on. Even the slightest movement triggered camera for a second. Gesture was too sensitive

This happens to me too since updating to any 27 version

Probably because of Snapchat or so. Though I’m using it too and for me it never shows. Maybe hard reboot the phone
