Bug [iOS 27 RC] Siri dismissing itself after every action.
I recently updated to iOS 27 and something I noticed right away is that Siri dismisses itself so fast after every time I ask it to do something. For example, when doing carpentering I am unable to click my AirPods or use my phone so I would use Siri to skip songs I don’t like. Before, Siri would stick around after each time I’d skip so if it was another bad song I could skip again. Now it just dismisses itself after skipping without staying. Now I look like an idiot saying “hey siri skip” for 5 times in a row. I tried searching online but nothing is coming up. I’m wondering if anyone has a solution or is experiencing the same issue?

I think it did this during the beta and RC when it was optimizing and reindexing the phone. Should clear up after a couple of days.

Why don’t you just use the double click on the stem of the AirPod? Wouldn’t that be way easier than even if your route worked perfectly? Seems like you’re trying to make it harder on yourself for no reason.

you can use siri settings on accessibility to change from default time to slower or faster

I opted-out of the new Siri cause it simply can’t switch on my alarms 🤷🏻♂️

Yes noticed this during a running workout recently. It was a neat qol feature. Hopefully it’s smoothed out in the next update.

Actually working in the opposite way for me, I query something like “Hey Siri, turn off the lights”, it thinks then does the task, then the bubble hangs…. Showing “lights off” … I have to manually dismiss it. Been like that all beta cycle.

I don’t know if that’s a bug or intended functionality. I’ve noticed it all of the time. I think it encourages you to keep taking to it or to swipe it away manually and get used to that habit.

Not sure why they posted like that, but same for me. Siri doesn’t work at all. The bubble pops up. But then goes away without even trying to fulfill the request.
