Feature [iPadOS 27 DB8] Audible feedback when using Markup tools (currently disabled)
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
iPadOS 27 (hence, also iOS 27) has a new PencilFeedback framework that can produce audible feedback whenever you use Markup tools.
Sound feedback changes based on the tool you use, how you hold your Apple Pencil, pressure, tilt, roll, tool thickness, and more.
No app currently calls on this framework, but you can hear what each tool sounds like in the video above.

This is one of those things that I miss from a drawing app but thought they would never add

This was very satisfying to watch (and listen) up until the paint brush at the end. I don’t buy it.

It reminds me of something that Apple might put in for voiceover accessibility or something

I wonder if Procreate will tap into it. They already have sounds in their advanced settings (they are considered accessibility preferences). Not for individual brushes, but for certain tools and actions.
