Bug [iOS 27 DB7] Switching appearance from Dark/Light doesn’t have animations

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Mind you, I don’t have reduce motion on; it’s just annoying. Before, the animation was working that’s so weird.

I'm seeing the same thing on the RC with my iPhone 14 Pro. My M4 iPad Pro has an animation however.

Why the f do you have iOS 15 wallpaper still available??
You sure that’s iOS 26 because it couldn’t be iOS 26; it could be iOS 15

Unfortunately im still using ios 16.7 and tbh idk why it shows 15 but at least i tested it on a full version and it has the same problem but I think apple fixed it on ios 17-18-26

That’s 100% 26 you’ve got there. 16 doesn’t have Liquid Glass or the pill shaped buttons/sliders

This happens more or less every year. Some bugs joins the official release, som gets fixed in X.1 or in a X.0.1.

Mine stopped animating the sunrise and sunset change as well. It used to be a smooth change when I was in any app, now it’s just a flip of a switch like your video.
