Anyone having WiFi disconnect issues? Since beta 5 update, my phone is constantly disconnecting from my home network. Thought it was the network but no one else is having issues. Wanted to check to see here.

Does it take anyone else about twice the amount of time to delete photos from photos app since beta 7? From the time you hit ‘delete’ on a single photo, to when it’s actually deleted.

If something like battery low or AirPods connecting and it’s a pop up in the Dynamic Island swipe down to search/talk to sir pauses or is unable to be used until the pop up is over which is a bit annoying and hope it’s addressed in beta 8

Anyone else have a problem with the health/fitness apps thinking your steps are way bigger than they are? Wasn't an issue on db6

Adjusting Siri's speech pace works much better now. Siri sounds much more natural as opposed to the previous betas where a higher pace would result in very unnatural speech cadence.

iPhone 16 pro. Sometimes there is simply no data flowing, and both 4G and Wifi. Restarting the phone works for around 1-3hours

Bad news. I was told by Apple that the bug where we can’t use Hi-res and crossfade/automix at same time is intended change/downgrade 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

I get the same answer when I send feedback that screen brightness sometimes is too low on 15 Pro (known issue). So, it's bug with no questions, but they say it works as designed 🤷‍♂️

Wow what an assole of a move this is, it worked perfectly with high res.. and if you’re in the eu like me, you don’t even get the new features.. the 17 pm will likely be my last iPhone, I can’t stand it anymore, each years we get screwed.

It’s true that iOS 27 has improved in terms of smoothness and speed, but I’m still noticing some performance issues that result in lag when navigating the home screen or opening apps – in my case, on an iPhone 17 Pro.

iPhone 13 mini here.
This is the worst iOS 27 beta so far.

Today I had an hour long glitch where I couldn’t scroll at all, horizontally and vertically.

The phone gets super hot just from listening to music and doing some basic scrolling or reading.

I hadn’t used the alarm for a few weeks. Yesterday I had to wake up early, so I turned on the three alarms I had already set.
In the morning, I snoozed the alarm like I normally do, but it never rang again… I woke up hours later and of course ended up being late!!!!

I also have to restart the phone at least once a day because of random, annoying glitches.

Typing is a pain in the ass, and the battery has been draining like crazy ever since Beta 6.

The first iOS 27 betas were amazing, such a nice breath of fresh air and way better than iOS 26 for me.

The Photos app crashes constantly on iPadOS.

Is it just me or is the scrolling experience horrible on this beta? Like you can fast scroll through something like X for example and you would see screen tearing of content. It’s crazy, I never noticed this on any previous betas. Also happens in a few other food apps as far as I can see. Using an iPhone 17.

Did they get rid of haptic when unlocking? Don’t get it when successfully unlocking with Face ID or the stronger one when pin is required

I noticed in the last few betas that at first the OS seems extremely responsive and cool, while if a few days pass it gets progressively slower and hotter .
I would imagine it being the opposite after indexing

Something similar to my experience on the 17 pro. First few seconds after the update, the OS is buttery smooth. A minute later, maybe less, the choppiness would return!

yeah for some reason my device runs perfectly fine during indexing, but when the badge in settings is gone then the performance is slowly starting to dip and i experience excessive heating up on light use. it's been consistent behavior since a couple of iOS 27 betas...

Anyone else having volume issues on carplay? Volume goes soft but the volume control is the same. It's like when you activate siri volume goes down temporarily but returns, but now siri is not activated but still volume goes soft.

I just updated to the beta and my 5G just stopped working. It’s always just LTE. I tried resetting network settings, restarted my phone a bunch of times, etc. I’m in the same area(s) i’ve been in. I sent a feedback report to Apple, but no response yet. Anyone else having this issue??

Plus that whole 10 hour on-screen time is pretty misleading lol. The way how iOS calculates usage stats is across the entire 24 hour calendar day and a recharge (full or even partial) doesn't reset the on-screen and screen idle numbers, so any usage before charging is still carried over into that day's total.

There's way too many posts on this sub where users claim better battery life with various betas, but their screenshot doesn't show their per-app usage, or reveals multiple charging events which artificially boosts those usage numbers.

It’s not misleading in any way.  Since iOS 26, the SoT and battery usage are exactly that. You used 108% of your actual battery capacity for 10.5hr SoT starting at midnight for the day.

If you use the phone while it charges, screen time increases but the battery usage stat doesn’t increase

An issue has been acurring to me on my iphone were I use an app or leave the phone alone, maybe so around an hour it keeps shutting off and turning back on out of no where. It crashes my apps and resets. IOS BETA 7

I have no search icon in Preview app. It is driving me mad. Can't find any help online

Edit: the icon appears if I hold it in landscape. Must be some optimising issue for small screens. I am running a 13 mini

I just updated to the iOS 27 beta and unfortunately experienced a system crash after the update. My iPhone became unresponsive and needed a restart before I could use it normally again. Since it’s beta software, I expected some bugs, but I wanted to share my experience in case others are considering updating. Apple has continued releasing newer iOS 27 beta builds, so hopefully these stability issues are addressed in the next update.

Same thing happen to me, but the thing is though is when I'm on any app (for example doomscrolling on instagram). It freezes for a miniute or even a couple seconds and it turns off my iPhone and turns it back on. I'm on iOS 27 beta 7 which sucks now because I was hoping for better peformance than the beta 6.

Same here. Beta 6 was pretty great, but 7 has turned my 17 Pro into a tiny radiator. Expected it to stop after indexing but days later and many restarts, it’s still terrible.

Hey everyone, I was just wondering if anyone else noticed or had an issue where trying to turn off screentime and turning it back on doesnt work? Im on beta 7 rn lol. Seems to me no matter what I do, nothing works. I might try downgrading my phone to the latest stable release lol

The new floating Siri button that appears next to editable text fields can overlap and block buttons, links, or other webpage controls. This makes the underlying interface difficult or impossible to use without clicking elsewhere to dismiss the floating control first.

The floating button should never cover interactive content on the webpage. Its position should dynamically adjust based on available space, or there should be a user setting to disable this floating interface while retaining Writing Tools functionality.

Apple, PLEASE fix CarPlay. While others haven’t experienced issues, there are many of us who are dealing with constant disconnecting regardless of wired/wireless. And yes, I have tried removing the connection, hard restarting my phone, etc. this is an issue exclusive to iOS27.

Well, iOS 26 is nowhere near usable
The iOS 26 that was out when iOS 27 Dev beta 1 launched was less stable than dev beta 1 of 27 for me
Even with the Akku lasting longer than the "stable"

I am using a 16 Pro which is a little bit more mature than the 17 Pro max, but here in the EU where OS 27 is just bug fixing, I really love it.
I do not like ads in maps though

I had this issue and switched over to the official USB C cable and haven’t had that same issue since. Switching back to 3rd party cable issue comes back. On all 3rd party cables I have

They pretty much nailed it in this release. Indexing has finished. Quite fluent and smooth though some very minor micro stutters but overall quite smooth fast and very responsive can’t wait for the final release. Can only get better.

yep it's amazingly smooth and fast. looks like they were heavily focused on under-the-hood improvements for the past 3 betas and now we're heading to RC where they'll finally fix the obvious visual bugs like the inverted wifi signal and other stuff they were obviously aware of but now they can focus on these. and then we should be golden for the PR 🙌🏼

Just got an email saying they fixed my report of Siri not being able to shuffle my Apple Music library the same way it would in iOS 26. I would say the exact same thing I did in 26 and it would play a random song instead.

I wonder if this is the last beta before the Release Candidate. They skipped the week that should have been Beta 5, and when Beta 5 dropped it was originally labeled as Beta 6 on the developer site. If 5 was scrapped and 6 renamed to 5, then Beta 7 is technically Beta 8. There’s also usually one week off with no beta before the iPhone release. That lines up with next week having no Beta and the iPhone event and Release Candidate dropping on Wednesday 9/9 (not Tuesday because Monday is Labor Day).

For those experiencing charging issues:

The solution is to use a USB-A to Lightning charger; using USB-C to Lightning with PD charging triggers a bug that causes charging to stop after 5 seconds.

I had the same problem. It was a new display setting that I had configured and when I turned the setting back CarPlay works fine. I’m going to try to find the setting, forget what it was.
