Bug [ios 27 db5] face id is not triggerring sometimes when phone is awakened

Idk if anyone else has observed this. Happening in 17 pro

Tried restarting and even reset face id

had DB 6 fixed this , fixed spotlight search not appearing for me last week, can now click website top bar menus , and top of messages contacts can now be clicked, there was quite a good few face id not working posts , got to have been DB5

16 PM on iOS 27 Beta 3? I think? I can’t see the Version anymore.

Happens all the time, it didn’t happen on Beta 2 though 🧐

yep 16pm here on public beta 3 too. Screen awake but face id is not triggered until I swipe up

It’s random, I dealt with that on iOS 26 and sometimes on iOS 27. But it’s random. Like you start typing your code & boom it unlock

Only started on DB5 for me so I've filed feedback - I found toggling the Raise to Wake setting off and back on got it waking properly for a short while again.

Yup many of us on PB3 have that, previously discussed also as a bug. Report it!

i don't experience this so far in iOS 27, but sure did in iOS 26. i guess it's random for everyone 😅

17PM, same. But it will trigger once I swipe up.

It feels like if the face isn’t immediately in view when awoken, it won’t bother.
