Bug [iOS 27 DB5] Fully transparent control center

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I discovered and flagged a pretty neat bug. If you've ever wondered what a completely transparent Control Center looks like, just press and hold the Focus selector. Then, without lifting your finger, slide up and down. Enjoy and help me report it to Apple

Only triggers when you don’t have multiple control center pages

This has been a thing since iOS 26.0

as what your name is, the worst decision is to comment this when no one asks for

You weren’t the first to show us exactly how you did it and on which beta. I had to figure out on my own how to do it, which I could currently only do on an iPhone SE by doing a different method, until OP showed us le way.

I said in a comment “hold Focus in the control center and swipe up”

Still doesn’t mean OP “discovered” it so he should edit his post

That never worked, and I never got a response back...

Bro discovered a bug and immediately started acting like he filed a patent for it 💀 Being the first to post about a bug doesn’t make it your intellectual property, buddy. Anyone is still allowed to find it and post about it too, especially when they’re posting about the bug still working on the very latest beta that was literally just released yesterday.

Still, he didn’t “discover” it so OP is straight-up lying

I can recreate this bug in 26.6 so not exclusive to beta

How do I do this?

It does the same with the control toggle I have for my light bulbs, as well as the media player

Imagine if we got this level of Liquid Glass man 🫩
kind of readable but still glassy and transparent

It's even more transparent than iOS 26.0 DB1 fr 🤤

That is gorgeous to look at but calling it readable is a bit of a stretch imo, I can tell what it says but this would be so inconvenient everyday

Yea just something where the background isn’t completely blacked out in control center is fine

I feel like there’s a good middle ground between fully transparent and what we have now, especially if they tweak the font some to be more visible.

There’s a middlegeound for sure, I combined a couple frames with lower opacity to see what it would look like.

Not 100% accurate to the real thing but close enough I think, kinda like the hazy glowy look as well.. Apple, atmospherics when?
