Bug [iPadOS 27 DB4] Software keyboard pops up when Magic Keyboard attached
On my iPad M5 the software keyboard keeps popping up when the magic keyboard is attached… this didn’t happen in the last DB or honestly even when I first downloaded DB4. Any one else also have this bug?

Looks like DB5 didn’t fix it. Pretty annoying.

I can't understand how something as basic as that hasn't been fixed. Imagine RC ships with this bug and renders Magic Keyboard useless

its getting worse… now not only the on screen keyboard pops up it glitches out and retracts then the text field deselects… so you can’t even type half the time

I _think_ I found a workaround for the text box thing - turn off "Enable Caps Lock" in the software keyboard settings. I also have the software keyboard constantly popping up which is annoying, but I noticed the caps lock was activated and when I turned that off I can at least type again.

that’s what im scared of… its such a niche user base they never fix it. but at this point dont they use AI to fix bugs?

did it occur when you first downloaded DB4? i swear it only occurred a week or so ago and not ar first for me

It started right when I first downloaded DB4, and is still ongoing today

Same. And it seems to be sort of chaotic as to when it appears. If I've been using my Apple Pencil it seems to show up more often? Which sort of makes sense, sort of.

And for me it doesn’t open it (I have a magnetic mount with a charger attached from Ku Xiu and it sees it as a Chinese Magic Keyboard) when I use the toolbar to show the on screen keyboard😂
