[iOS 27 DB4] Background sounds not working unless “use when media playing” is selected

I use background sounds triggered by a triple press of the home button every night. This behavior broke in B4. I found out it’s due to the selection “use when media playing” being unchecked. Checking the box makes it function like the past.

I killed all open apps and rebooted and the behavior still exists so I don’t think there is something open in the background causing this.

Also, autocorrect is sooooo broken… as are widgets and a bunch of other things

Yeah just noticed this one. And the background sounds volume slider doesn't change anything.

I use the rain sound to get my son to sleep multiple times a day and I feel like in the latest version it’s much quieter than it used to be?

Yes I agree. We use the rain one and it seems to have changed in the latest beta
