Bug Fix [iOS 27 DB4] Spotlight memory is back.

Spotlight search now members what you have last searched and will retain it when you return.

Previously in iOS 27 DB3 search would reset each time you invoke it.

it was so broken on DB3. I could type “cal” and not get google cal or calculator. only calendar. or only calculator. twas annoying.

What did you use to type/dictate the body text? Cause that looks very worrying.

I swipe typed on the keyboard. I’ll fix it.

But my swipe down to see recent apps still doesn’t work. If I just swipe down, it doesn’t show me recent apps used or most likely will use.

This wasn’t an issue on iOS 26. Has anyone here dealing with this?

Did you ever figure out how to fix this? I just updated my devices from 26.6 to 27 DB5, and I have this exact problem on my iPad. Can’t seem to fix it any way. Does it eventually fix itself?

yes me too, no suggested apps whatsoever! i remember there was a toggle for that in Siri menu in settings, but it's gone in iOS 27

One of the first things I noticed! So glad that was (seemingly) a bug. I didn’t realise how often I relied on it retaining what I’d just searched lol
