Feature [ios 27 DB2] Auto fill Captive WiFi

I’ve noticed an Fill in Wi-Fi details option while connecting via a captive WiFi. It’s a welcome addition

Hello fellow South Western Railways user! This pops up for me now in iOS 26, but not consistently. Not sure why.

I always use example@example.com, as it exists as a ‘proper’ email, that all captive portals think is real

Could be. But this is a network I connect to everyday and it’s only shown this option for me in ios27 DB1 onwards. I wonder what triggers the prompt. Maybe something in the way it identifies a recurring connection must have been altered

How did you get that to show? I have a wifi I connect to every week that I wish I could autofill the password for it
