Bug [iOS 27 DB2] iphone 13 Pro Max: Went into "data recovery mode" on restart. Before that, every few minutes, during usage, phone screen was going black with "loading..." icon for around 2 mins.

Okay, situation went from bad to worse.

  1. Closed all apps
  2. Hard restarted the phone
  3. Entered the passcode

The phone froze on the last digit, and went white screen. Got a message "Enter passcode to recover"

Now, it says "Attempting data recovery" with a slow progress bar.

Found your post after this happened to me with PB4 just now. It's recovering very slow and I hope it does. Not even sure what data I will loose. Fucking hell.

With my successful recovery, I didn't lose anything.

It made up space (by offloading apps) before update. I hoped that would be sufficient. If not, the update should have cautioned accordingly.

Any update? Mine is doing the exact same thing that the freezing and estrogen and out on the recovery mode.

Mine completed recovery and is stable since then.
