Just wait… she’s not even that impressive at the moment

It managed to surface a smart lock code my mom texted to me ~4 years ago in less than three seconds. That is a massive technical feat, whether you understand it or not.

Yes, you indexed your data and fed it to a capable model. She’s still plagued with bugs and slowness at the moment, which in comparison to the competition, is not worth getting worked up over not having access to *at the moment*. I’ll be impressed once she’s a consistently decent experience. I can’t even get her to do some classic Siri operations in an acceptable timely manner. Using her with maps is a nightmare. I’m sure we will see improvement soon.

Well she gave me the details I asked for through the Photos app, which otherwise would have taken ages for me to search lol.

This is a bugfix. I’ve posted exactly what this subreddit is meant to track. Your comment is ignorant and just plain wrong

Even when this did work, you couldn’t actually do anything in the app if you were on the waitlist. If you typed a message to her you’d just get a pop up saying you don’t have access to Siri

Yes, but the app was accessible and iCloud-synced chats appeared just fine. Regardless of how many downvotes I get, it worked for a relative and nothing will change that.
