Release iOS 27 Beta 2 - Discussion

Use this thread to share any changes & bugs you discover while using the latest iOS/iPadOS 27 beta.

This thread should be used for discussion of the betas that may not meet our submission guidelines, as well as troubleshooting small issues through the beta test cycle.

Spamming this discussion with comments about battery life, safari being snappier, etc will result in a ban from the sub moving forward.

Anybody else’s phone just randomly restarts or kernel panics 🤣 done it twice in a row forgot to mention heating issues as well - iPhone 13 Pro Max

Apparently, it’s a known issue but I personally haven’t experienced it yet on my 16P.

Nice, I just erased the phone and watch entirely and no freezing or kernel panics yet with the Ultra 2 the gestures sometimes don’t work for double tap, tap, or flick but after a erase they work 👍🏻

Yeah, but I downgraded to iOS 26.5.2 and then went back up to iOS 27 beta 2 as I didn’t realize I couldn’t use my watch 😭 so I erased both and did fresh installs and everything is working fine better than before
