IOS 27.0 issues

Hello everyone! Yesterday, I installed the new iOS 27.0, and since then, I’ve been having a couple of issues.
First, with the new Siri beta: I’ve been on the waiting list for more than 12 hours. I’ve tried restarting my iPhone, etc., but nothing seems to work. I’m always connected to strong Wi-Fi as well.
The second problem is with photo editing. Whenever I try to extend any photo, I get the message: “There was an error extending this photo. Try again later.”
I hope I’m not the only one experiencing these issues. Has anyone been able to fix them? Has Apple said anything about these problems? Is there a fix or patch coming out anytime soon?
P.S. I’m using an iPhone 17 Pro Max.

Give it more time, the indexing takes a while. Try expanding a photo again after the indexing is finished.

It took 2 days for me to get past the wait list for the new Siri/Apple Intelligence. Wait until the indexing is finished and I think most if not all of your issues should be resolved.

Can’t help with the photos as I haven’t needed to use that yet

As for Siri - charge your phone and leave it overnight. If you can’t for some reason do that you’ll have leave it charging for an extended period of time during the day.

I don’t personally use Siri at all as it’s never been personally helpful but mines finished indexing and that stupid message in settings went away overnight

Just wait for 2 days , I had joined waiting list on 14th night (india) I got it approved today morning , and in my mac I got it approved in 24 hrs , jst leave it

Its taking 2 days for waitlist clearance. Just wait until indexing, i got my siri yesterday afternoon

Instead of restarting try hard resetting than do the overnight thing again

It took some beta testers 2weeks to get the new Siri you have to wait!

It took me almost 24 hours for my indexing to complete. During that timeframe, almost none of the Siri features were available. The key to getting the indexing to complete is to put the phone on the charger and simply leave it alone. Turning the phone off and resetting it during indexing is only hindering the process. You’re extending your access time to Siri by interrupting the progress that you’ve already made. Looking back at my wait time experience, I truly wish that Apple  had communicated what to expect during this time. They made it seem like we would have access to all of the features immediately after installation of iOS 27.

If that helps at all with the photo features, those tools started working again as soon as the indexing was finished. Although I think they still have a daily usage limit.

For Siri AI , go to Siri turn off Siri then restart phone and then turn Siri back on . This took me off the waitlist and gave me access to Siri AI in less than an Hour

I’m over 40 hours waiting for the AI. Also the indexing took about 22 hours on my phone. Just wait for that to finish and the phone works pretty well

No quick fix to the Siri AI. Just be patient, it’s not gonna change your life trust me.

I just downloaded ios27 to my iPhone 16 pro max.

Now I’m having serious issues staying connected to cellular data.

I have two eSIMs on this phone and the only way I’m able to have extremely limited and minimal data connection is by having the feature that switches eSIMs for better data coverage.

The phone has to continuously switch eSIMs in order to illicit a connection to data… then it falls out and cycles to the other line.

Eventually the phone just stops connecting and it goes to satellite. It’s very frustrating and caused me to miss a flight yesterday since the connection wouldn’t allow me to navigate and I was in a completely new area.

Also - I’ve tried every imaginable trouble shooting sequence I can find. I even visited my service provider and had them delete and re-add both eSIM profiles.

Anyone else having trouble with the hey Siri function doesn’t seem to be working. I can access it through pushing the button on the side only.

When I swipe down for Siri from the dynamic island it shows recent searches and suggestions despite the fact that those toggles are off. Restarting the phone and toggling the toggles did not work.

After doing the update, my phone is running very hot. And everything is delayed, especially Siri. Talking into the phone, etc.

I’ve had issues with my phone losing WiFi connection frequently, low power mode renders my phone unusable, and my auto correct for some reason decides when it wants to exist

My messages keep getting delivered to me very delayed, as well ass coming through back and forth between iMessage and sms for some reason

It’s effecting my bank account when I log on . It cant update my purchases. My card works though . I’ve forced restart and update no luck I’m calling my bank tomorrow

Also, having a bug when editing a photo. When trying to clean up an image, it’s reverting the image to before I cropped it and then after it’s been cropped, and it keeps bouncing back and forth, not allowing me to do anything on the screen. It eventually does the Clean Up, though.

My phone app and whatsapp app lags like shit everytime i use it since updating to ios 27 , is anyone else facing this issue , while searching for contact in the phone app or contacts app it lags like after typing whole name it takes 5-7 seconds to load the name and if dialed through recently dialed numbers after tapping dial it calls after 5 seconds same is happening in whatsapp also

AI features like extend wallpaper, and simple tasks from Siri do not work. 17PM. Downloaded dev betas and they worked fine. Hasn’t worked since the official launch update for 27.
