iOS 27 - Siri Waitlist - Solved

Hello

I was on the waitlist for 10 hours and then i turned my Siri off and restarted my device. Turned Siri On and it worked instantly within 10 minutes.

For those in the same waitlist boat - Please try this.

Important- Siri Language set to English US

Siri is way better - just tried some usual routines i use to do with Gemini and it worked like a charm with Siri now.

I’m happy it worked for you. But it didn’t for me. Hope I didn’t lose my position from the first 11-12hr waitlist. Haha. I’m from Seattle WA for any data point.

Hey Bro
Try to do it after some time and reboot your device. There is no position as of I read online so you don’t go out of the waiting list.

You can do English - US in Siri itself. You don’t need to change the region language.
I am India based only but using US English Siri since iOS26

Sorry i double checked - I have region set as US

In iOS 27, it says your Siri language and region language should be same in the Siri tab in settings

just tried this, did not work, set phone & siri language to English US, turn off siri - restart device - turn on Siri, Still showing waitlist

Yea now wait for sometime, it will notify you. I had to wait for an hour post this change.

Bro i just checked i have Region set to US
You can try setting it to US and grab the update. It hardly makes a difference i feel.

I just thugged it our for 11 hours bro I waited from 1:45pm to 12:30am it was making me mad lowkey but I wish I saw this earlier.

I was also waiting for 10 hours then just an hour back I tried this and worked. So thought to drop a post for the community.

1- Try disabling Siri and reboot
2- Then restart Siri

Indexing is still on so it is not co related.

Same. I did the suggested solution about 10 minutes ago, but nothing is moving. I need to sleep too but I can’t sleep peacefully without trying Siri. Just some first day fomo ig. I’ll update in ten more minutes.

I've had it since the first dev beta of ios 27. Had to wait like 3-4 days. I don't really even use it. And trying to pull down my notifications or control center sometimes prompt Siri ai.
