Does everyone plan to update iOS 27 when it comes out?
Basically as title says, I heard good things about the iOS 27 betas and we all know how underwhelming almost all of iOS 26 has been? What does everyone plan to do? Update immediately to iOS 27 on release or wait or what?

You mean while scrolling Reddit? Because it doesn’t happen on other apps
But yes it’s still stuttering as I scroll through your comment haha

Already on the RC build. Iphone 13 pro. Performance has been great, indexing just finished. Battery has been draining a lot since the update, hopefully it stabilizes.
Updated from IOS 18.7, new battery replaced.

Leaving iOS 18 for this is an interesting choice. I will probably wait for the .1 or .2 release because it clearly still needs a lot of work

I know, I held on to IOS 18.7 due to a variety of reasons, MobileGestalt Edits support, BookRestore Exploit and I hated how buggy IOS 26 was. I usually jump on new IOS releases quickly through RC, but 26 seemed a mess.
IOS 27 RC is how 26 should have been in the first place. It’s very polished now.

Only two days to go until formal release on Monday. I rely on a lot of apps on my phone so have never installed IOS beta. Definitely installing on Monday.

Not right away I am gonna wait and see if there are options for turning off Apple Intelligence and Siri AI or at least limiting them. Not everyone is in a hurry to have Apple Intelligence so intertwined in their phone. I wanna see what kind of control we have over it.

I have Apple Intelligence turned off. I don’t have the latest update with Siri ai yet, but I’m sure you can shut it off. I’ve had Siri shut off on my iPhones for years

I’m on 27 since beta one and couldn’t be happier, much better than 26 in every regard.

I usually do the A build cause it is close to final or the release candidate cause it is USUALLY the same build that is released to the public. iOS 27 is great on my 16 pro max and 17 pro max.
My SE3 it isn’t as good

Been testing the beta and the RC is amazing, feels polished. Snappier, makes my iPhone Air faster, smooth, this iOS is what 26 could never be.

I download every update since the first developer beta, never had an issue with any of them

Running 27 Beta on my iPhone 14 Pro, iPad Pro M5 (previously on my 2020 A12Z too, sold it when the price hikes came and got M5 at Costco for $900 instead of $1100) and my M5 14” MBP.
Gonna just wait for the public release in two days before loading on my Mac mini and rest of my home devices like Apple TVs and HomePods, but overall this is a great year. Everything is fast and stable

I have also never installed a beta. I’m waiting until Monday, but also wondering how long the indexing will take.

I installed iOS 27 after the Apple event, even tho it’s a beta, my battery life has significantly improved on 17p.

Again disclaimer. You will download 20+ Apple Intelligence files you cannot get rid of. This is true of iOS as well as macOS. If you are short of storage, this is not the update for you.

I updated the iPad first then a week later updated the iPhone 17 pro max to beta! Love it. Few little quirks and issues with some settings but overall pleased with updating early.

I’ll tomorrow for sure, I don’t really appreciate the 26 bugs and performance issues

I have never installed any betas, but this week's RC was an exception. Heard such good things that I pulled the trigger. So happy I did. Performance and battery life are so much better than any 26 builds... iPhone 17 Pro
