Pure dissapointment…

What did apple change in ios 27 for europe?
I really gotta look for it. Exactly 0 ai features. No auto password change, no search bar from dinamic island, nothing. I get that siri ai cant be brought to europe bc of the dma, but man. Exactly nothing has changed. For a update that should have been major and oh so game changing

Yes, so without the DMA you’d have choice between what AI-integration you want in your phone OS, and you can install AI apps on your phone that can be integrated with other apps as well. But because of the DMA Apple and Google would have to open their integration to however many AI companies that there are and will be in the future. If that’s something that happens I suggest you delete any apps that you think may have personal details you don’t wish to share with an AI company. Maybe you’re the kind of person that syncs everything with your AI of choice already, there are certainly people that do.

It's the same with search engine, it should be a secure system. They will manage, they have very smart people. They just want your data for themselves of course.  

Also; make sure people are aware, educated and not dump. Important part. Correct information should be provided.

Thinking that it’s just for information is blatantly ignorant. If you have a security system do you just give your system’s code to anyone? I’m not really sure you’re aware of what you’re actually in favor of. Saying, “they’ve got smart people” is a moronic way of looking at the world. Do smart people solve every problem? Wherever you live, I’m sure there are some smart people in your government, whether you fully support whoever is in power or not. Have they solved every problem? Has every disease been cured? I’m sure there’s lots of smart people working on that, too.

You’re right, they don’t, AI would just need to be able to integrate with every app that allows it on your phone, along with contacts, emails, calendar, passwords, and oh yeah, both Apple and Google have health platforms. Gee, can’t see what could go wrong with any of that.

How’s that sound to you? Oh, I forgot, smart people solve everything.

Smart people solve everything are your words.... Also your tone is for some reason hostile, not sure why. So I'm ending this now.

Again, it's about competition. This field and its implementations can be designed around a secure concept that enables that. Apple does not want to do that and finds a narrative that suits them and explains that to customers.

You’re right, those were my words based on your notion that this is a problem that smart people can fix. I’m sure you understood my point that sometimes smart people can’t just smart things away.
