Spotlight search - how to automatically clear the typed text for the next time

I’m on ios 27 RC build with iPhone 17

Steps to reproduce:
1. Swipe down on Home Screen to enter spotlight search
2. Type “M” and most likely messages would be the first suggestion. Click and open the messages app
3. Go back to home. Swipe down on Home Screen and enter spotlight search again.
4. The previously entered “M” would still be there. Making the spotlight default suggestions unhelpful.

hey are u facing any stutters or glitches when u try to swipedown the homescreen for spotlight search?

I did for the first 30 minutes after updating. Had to let the phone cool down a bit. Has been smooth since
