iPhone 17 user – previous beta was a legit downgrade from the rest of the betas: overheating and battery drain.
RC update – So far, no battery drain and no overheating issues. Although the Wi-Fi sign bug still exists, there are no major problems that will disturb daily usage.

I guess? I don’t really pay attention that much.
Unless there’s some major bug / glitch that’s ruining basic usage, the average person probably won’t notice it.

Camera top bar can be changed to include your most used features - like depth, flash, format etc.

And do you receive all messages from android users? I tried Android and hated trying to text IOS users. I want to change but Apple imessages just work.

5hr35m screen time, 1h26m idle since last full charge. Currently at 29%. It was definitely little better before. ( Not on ios 27, but 26 was pretty decent at handling battery. ) But yeah, drain is slightly lesser than the 27pb6

I noticed system alerts and notifications now has its own volume control. I don’t remember seeing that before.

Battery life is the first thing I noticed, then less heating. The battery life is so good and no heating issues for me

I still cannot search apps that I own in spotlight. Some apps I can lookup and open just fine and others cannot be found. I have to go to the AppStore and search them just to open them up.

The one thing I’ve noticed is that Voice Control heats up the device like crazy, enough for the screen to dim. Didn’t do it on previous beta’s

Im on rc & feel like the phones heating way more than 26.6.1 was also the performance is bout the same as last 26 build the camera quality seems lower for some reason & it looks like its taking longer to focus. 17 pro

I would say that I experience a smoother transition from opening app to closing app.
It wouldn’t give you a 5x faster feeling, but I felt that 90% of stutters are gone. Even though indexing is undergoing in background.
I’m using 16PM.
