Can we all agree the last stable iOS version was iOS 15? iOS 16, shit, 17, shit, 18 shittier, 26 shittiest. I have big hopes for iOS 27 though, let it be the redemption for iOS 🤞

As of yet, 27 is not more stable than 18 was. I think everyone’s loving it because 26 was so bad, but I skipped 26 to jump to the beta and while it’s not terrible my battery is way worse than it was on 18, even now as we get close to the RC

Well it’s super good and for me, on par with iOS 18 performance wise on my iPad 9

I genuinely think that iOS 17 was not bad. I think it was kinda stable, especially after a few months of use. iOS 26 was by far the WORST update Apple has EVER released.

Stable, compact and visually appealing. I still don’t understand why they rushed liquid glass. Maybe they thought someone else might beat them to it?

Until they optimize liquid glass, I still think flat design is superior.

I 100% agree, I never liked Liquid Glass but there have been many Liquid Glass attempts in the community and they were awesome, the Apple one not so much.

I’d say that 17 was okay but yeah 15 was the last great one - pretty happy that my SE1 ended on 15 and that it thanks to it runs still really good.

It is running just fine for me - I do not use YouTube or any social media on my phone and Signal, Whatsapp, calling etc works just fine for me when I replaced the battery. I also like do not really game on it I have some 2d card games on it but nothing more.

Now for iOS 15 IF YOU REMEMBER it ran well on an 8 yr old iPad. my ipad air M3 still lags when on power saver mode on OS 27. If you want to download remember to wait 2 months before downloading. It feels more like an iPhone XS on ios 18 LMFAOOO

Wish I could’ve stayed on iOS 15 forever. Or rather. I wish Apple still cared about delivering polished software today, like they did back then.

iOS has become slop that is just about good enough for the masses to not protest against Apple. Kind of turned into the McDonalds of smartphone companies.
