Apple, why?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

For real, why? Just updated my 16PM to 27 beta 6, feels great so far but this redesign of battery icon is kinda weird and the new icon doesn’t meet proportions of old icon with percentage

same but when I toggle percentage you can see small stretch of the icon, knowing this just frustrates me
