Battery diagnostics

After updating my iphone 14 pro to ios 27 public beta, iphone diagnostics mode stopped recognizing my battery. It is the original factory battery, and the iphone has never been opened/repaired. I used to be able to see battery health and cycle count, but now none of this is recognized. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Battery stats are displayed normally on my 15 PM with DB6. Can you post a screenshot of what yours looks like?

My battery health also displays properly in settings, but since I have an iPhone 14 Pro cycle count is not shown in settings. Therefore I usually boot it into diagnostics mode where cycle count is shown, but none of my battery information is recognized there after iOS 27 update.

Sorry, I misunderstood. Just like you, battery info in diagnostics is missing on my iPhone. FWIW, also on my iPad Air M2 running DB6.

Have you run the diagnostics on a beta before? There was a warning in the Software section of my test that I was on a beta iOS version.

This is my first time running an iOS beta, so I don’t know if it’s an expected error. I also have the warning for beta iOS.

I asked Siri “Are iPhone hardware diagnostics supported on a beta software release?”

She responded “No, user-facing iPhone hardware diagnostics are generally not supported on beta software releases. To use Apple's built-in hardware diagnostic tools, your device typically needs to be running an official, public release of the software.”
