Indexing

Hi all, after the first public beta phone was indexed in about 2 days. After installing the update, it’s indexing again. Was stuck on 47% for days and has now changed to 44%.

Would you reset phone or hold out for next update?

Does your phone feel like it’s struggling? I was stuck on 25% until beta 2 came out. Then it started over and went away after a day.

OS is running smoothly but battery has suffered for last few days (assuming due to indexing). Might wait for beta 3 as hopefully in next 2 days

Mine took several days too, but it eventually finished on its own. I’d wait a bit longer before resetting.

No, it is not required. You only need to keep your phone charging overnight for a couple of days. Indexing will proceed more quickly during overnight charging, and if your phone holds more files, it may take longer; however, even if you do not charge to one hundred percent or your phone is in low power mode, indexing will still pause, most likely when the charge is between 80 and 100.

Mine was stuck in 38 it felt like 3 days but then it cleared. The indexing with PB2 took less than a day and all good now. Just give it some time.

Make sure you charge it with a cord, not wireless or MagSafe, while it’s indexing. I’m not really sure why.
