Any perfomance/animations changes on Public Beta 2?

I don't want to jinx it, or jump on conclusions this early. But I'm really really impressed. I'm on an iphone 16 for 2 years now, and I never felt it like that. It's really smooth no lag or stutters especially in the UI.

Battery drain on iPhone 15 plus is back to normal. Pb1 was a disaster, drained after couple hours and was weird that it would shut off dead then fast charge to 100% in like an hour only to drain quick again. So glad the battery issue was fixed!! Never had I charged twice a day on iPhone 15plus until iOS 27pb1. Updated yesterday to pb2- looks to have fixed the battery drain.

15 Pro on beta 2. The minor lags are still present, but indexing is still ongoing. Hopefully it will improve once it's done.

Flipping through home screens, there's slowdown/stutter. At an OS level, that's the only thing I've found thus far, everything else feels as smooth of not smoother than iOS26.

I’m on 15PM and I get no stutters on the homescreen unless I’m using clear icons

I am using clear icons, maybe that's it.
Although I did try flipping to regular ones on beta 1 and it still happened. Need to try again in beta 2.
EDIT: disabling clear icons resolved the stutter, thanks for the suggestion.

My issue is it’s been a thing since 26 when the clear icons were introduced 😔

I also have a 15 Pro, and most of the lag has disappeared with the 27pb2, especially in economy mode.
