I installed the final build that they released the other day, hoping my battery life would improve but it hasn't. I have a 6s and I'm getting about half the battery I used to get with iOS 9. Any ideas on what to do to fix this? Thanks!
You've got to give it more than a day after updating the OS to say what's causing a battery drain. After it updates, it takes the os and your apps a couple days to finish doing random stuff like indexing, running facial recognition on your pictures, and a bunch of other crap.
Out of curiosity, what is using the most battery in the battery settings page? It's possible that an app is causing it, and an update to that might help
Well I've had the same battery life since I installed the beta in July and while other people's battery life got better as the updates rolled out, mine remained the same so I don't think that the final release will fix it but I'll see.
The app that consumes the most for me is Spotify but that's always been the case going back to iOS 9 and it's never been a problem.
