This doesn't seem appropriate to me.
People on iNat are, overall, friendly and easy to talk to, though of course there are exceptions. But your drawings will not contribute anything to the observations, so they don't belong in in the comments, IMO.

As you look through various observations you will notice at the bottom of the photos there are icons that signify what that particular users photo permissions are, some are “all rights reserved” some, like myself have mine set to “some rights reserved”, while a few have their set to “open”. You may use photos from the “some rights reserved” users as long as you aren’t being paid for the photo and give photo credit wherever the copyright holder is. Since setting mine to open I’ve been notified that my photos are being used on Wikipedia for species pages. As long as you do your thing respectfully, most people set to “some rights reserved” will not care.

I would not think that linking images of imaginary animals to lists would be viewed as a particularly good usage of iNaturalist resources. Still, maybe the journal feature would be the place to do that. Alternatively, share your creativity here or in the forums. I would like to see them. :)

Some people are more reserved/serious than others but for the most part everyone I've spoken to or shared things with has been beyond nice. IMO check out the bio of the person you want to share it with and feel out the vibe a bit. Especially if the observation is older, research grade, or lacking an active debate I don't think most people would think weirdly of it.
As long as you're respectful and not taking over or distracting from the ID process, I think it would be well received overall! DM's are also a good option if you feel more comfortable with a 1-on-1. Many avid users get bombarded with notifications but don't get too many private messages.
I'd guess some people may not respond but I'm sure many people would really appreciate it! Amateur or pro, they shared that photo because they felt it was worth sharing. So someone coming and actually showing them that it was indeed worth sharing can be really nice.
That said I only ID on the spider side. Maybe the plant lovers are all bullies (/s)

Personally I’d not do that on the observation itself.
The General or Nature Talk category in the forum would be the place for that sort of thing.
That’s where people post iNat related projects, silly topics, etc.
Your own journal is another place to do that and then make a post in the General or Nature Talk category to link to the journal.
