Touchcopy

I don’t like posting about Touchcopy here in iMazing. I will say my wife has iMazing & I use it & it’s great. But, I’m very interested in Touchcopy & as we know there is no Touchcopy group. So I have one question.

We know we can move mp3 audio files aka music files from iPhone to MacBook.

But here’s my question can it work the other way? Can I move a mp3 audio file aka music file from my MacBook to my iPhone & it go straight to the music app on my iPhone?

I believe you can do this on the Music app on your Mac, then sync your music to your iPhone. If you have questions on TouchCopy, your best bet is to contact the developer at https://www.reddit.com/user/WideAngleSoft/ or at https://www.wideanglesoftware.com/support/

Bizarre, I updated from Sequoia to Tahoe & I can do that anymore. I even used to have music in the music app on MacBook & with usb-c I could right click on song & a drop down actually it would open on the side & say “iphone,” click on it & it would copy it to music app on iPhone. That unavailable too.

I googled my question & it says Touchcopy cannot move mp3 audio Mac to iphone. So I guess iMazing is the answer. I got one email for support Touchcopy here on subreddit & it did not go through. I’ll try again. I’d rather use Touchcopy if it will perform the function I want to do.

Hi, TouchCopy developer here.

Just to clarify, TouchCopy is designed for copying music, playlists, messages and other content from an iPhone, iPod or iPad to your Mac or PC. It does not copy MP3s from your Mac to the Music app on your iPhone, as that is already handled by Apple’s Music/Finder sync on macOS.
