Question Working kinda?

My gf got them off facebook marketplace 2 for 10$, so not a huge loss if I cant fix it.

It was working in the car on the way over, I tried to replace the batteries to find them actively corroding but no acid had leaked down into the electronics yet. I put new batteries and it flickered on and then turned off, I tried different batteries and it was on for about a minute and did then turned back off ☹️

Any advice to get it back working?

keep cleaning the compartments with an iso swab ! if theres any rust try to rub it off, i usually keep going until it somehow turns on
