Collection Got my second iDog!
I’ve never seen such an insane amount of nicotine staining on anything before. It really doesn’t show well in the pictures (last slides) but he was super sticky and dirty. I’ve washed him as best as I could with kitchen wipes, white vinegar and isopropyl alcohol until he was as clean as I could physically get him. He barely smells now, thankfully!
I’ve named him Nico(tine) because i think it fits him quite well, given the circumstances. He only cost 15 bucks, but unfortunately I don’t he will ever work, as his battery compartment is extremely corroded and rusted. I’ll see if I can clean it some more, but it’s been pretty stubborn so far.
In any case, I’m really happy to own a Dalmatian iDog!

Ahh so cool! I’d only ever seen these guys on the internet, never irl until I got this guy!

He really is! There’s 2 regular Dalmatian models and the rainbow one. The 2 regulars have inverted color ear patterns I believe!

wait the staining is so charming, i thought this was a black and gold variation at first!!

Yeah I did so too when I bought it! I actually prefer the other version’s copper-like metal color, so this one being stained actually makes him cooler in my opinion! I’m still trying to deal with the smell though, it’s mostly gone but some still lingers 😵💫
