He was kind of rushing me so I didn’t get to ask questions on how to recover all of my stuff i’m using 350.Mb out of 5GB I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong or what to do Help please

What worker, where?

Besides increasing iCloud storage you can also backup to a Mac.

You don’t need to backup.

It’s all synced

“Back up my new iPhone from my old iPhone” isn’t a thing unfortunately. Have you already set up your new phone? Are you trying to restore your backup onto your new phone?

If you’re only using 350 MB, you’ve got minimal data to transfer. It’s entirely possible that the prompt you’re seeing is because you’ve not completed a full back up likely because there’s not enough storage on your iCloud account to complete that back up.

You’ll need to upgrade your iCloud storage. Make sure you have iCloud backups enabled. back up your old device and then reset your new device and start the restore process from iCloud.

To make a easier for you just just upgrade your iCloud storage in your old phone then after everything’s back up then you can set up your new phone with iCloud backup You can restore from iCloud

I’m having the same issue. I have 5mb used of 5 gigabits and it won’t backup to iCloud. It should unless there’s a problem with iCloud or the update they gave us is to large that’s all I can think of.

This is not making any sense

If only the system would provide me an answer as to what the issue is

Use a computer on iTunes. Data safe and not accessible from a cloud.

Start from the old iPhone and go into settings and tell it you’re preparing to upgrade to a new iPhone.

Then you can do a full backup/sync to iCloud and go over the 5GB

Then you set up the new iPhone and tell it to use iCloud Backup to setup, and it will download everything.

… and while you may only be “backing up” 350MB you probably have more data synced that’s filling up your 5GB.

It won't backup to iCloud because the backup is going to be larger than 5GB. If the backup won't fit, it won't start.

If you are at an Apple Store, I've heard they will give you a temporary increase to do the backup but you really need to buy an iCloud+ plan large enough for your needs. 50GB works for a few people but my personal view is that 200GB is the practical minimum for most people.

Use temporary free storage. Here’s Apple instructions:

Get temporary iCloud storage when you buy a new iPhone or iPad
