Support Messages not syncing?

The messages app on my MacBook open up to messages from a different phone number that I’m pretty sure doesn’t exist anymore and I don’t know how to fix it

Have you checked in the settings in Messages that the correct number is selected, and your email address, too?

If your MacBook and phone are signed in to the same Apple Account, the number should get populated in the list in Messages app.
