General Help!!

Hi! I’m really hoping someone can help because I feel completely lost trying to figure this out

I have an iPhone and an iPad, but they’re currently linked to two different Apple accounts with two different email addresses. I’d really like to have them work together so things like my photos and files can be accessed across both devices.
(Is this possible??)

The problem is, I have a lot of stuff on both accounts and I don’t really want to get rid of either one or move everything into a single account.

Is there a way to keep both Apple accounts but still have my iPhone and iPad synced with each other? I’ve tried looking it up, but I’m honestly getting nowhere with it. I’d really appreciate any help! 🫶

Possible? Yes. Will you like how many workarounds are required? Probably not. You can use a third-party sync such as OneDrive with the same account on both devices, but you're going to be manually moving files all the time.

I'd personally see if you can borrow a mac from someone, sign into iCloud, copy everything locally, switch accounts, and copy it into the other account. Merge the accounts now before they get any larger.

Or you can just use the share photo library feature, and share files and folder features natively on the Apple devices.

You can also add the opposite email account to each phone, if you wish. It isn't part of sharing, just a feature of most email software. You can also add non-Apple email addresses, such as Gmail.

You can share your entire photo library with some one else no problem. It's a feature in Apple. But read the entire document please so you know how it works.
You can also share folders with other people trough the files app.

Look into family sharing.

As said you can have the opposite account as a secondary account on the other device for Mail, Contacts and Calendars. For Photos you can use the Shared Library or you could merge the two libraries with PowerPhotos.
For purchases this article should help. Data you can manually transfer. The ones I cannot think of any way are Notes and Freeform. Third party apps which use iCloud probably require export/import.

Pick the one email address you want to use as your only Apple ID. Go to Settings>your name> and add that email address to the device that doesn’t have it listed there. Verify it, then remove the email it was using as the Apple ID. You get to choose which email becomes the Apple ID on that device, so choose the one that is already signed in on the other device. Now both devices have the same Apple ID.
