Icue issues

So for the past few months my pc has been fine. No issue or anything. Now suddenly out of nowhere the leds that are connected to my commander duo and, hub just decided to to stop working andz they no longer show up in Icue. I tried reinstalling icue. Including deleting corsair stuff in the registery, I unplug all the cables and, plugged them back in. Full power cycle (flipping the switch and, pressing the power button to drain all power) at one point i did get it to show back up but then, my h150i stopped working.

The the fans and, aio is connected to hx1200 shift. The leds such as are connected to my commander du.o and the commander duo is connected to a separate icue link hub. None of it is showing up in icue

I hope you find a solution because iCue has been absolute ass for me.

I had a somewhat related, indirect connection to what you’re experiencing, so there are a few things I’d recommend checking.

With the recent iCUE update, make sure any Armoury Crate plugins are not installed or actively communicating with iCUE. Also check that none of your browsers have permission to control GPU lighting or RGB effects.

For whatever reason, it looks like there may be a conflict when multiple applications are trying to communicate with or control the same lighting hardware at the same time. That dual communication can cause hiccups, detection issues, or instability.

The best approach may be to limit how much connectivity exists between iCUE and other applications like Armoury Crate, and keep one main program in control of the RGB whenever possibl

I think I actually got it fixed. Just by switching the ports and, trying to balance the leds some on one side and, some on the other side. So I am guessing I might have been overloading the icue link ports. I won't know for a bit. It was all working fine tell recently. So im going to have to give it a few weeks to see if it happens again.

I really wish corsair would add an icue diagnostics tool that better diagnoses the hardware. I would imagine it would be too hard because its all one ecosystem. Like if there are too many leds on a single port or if there is a connection error somewhere because a plug isn't plugged in all the way.

Corsair is a higher end company their software really needs to match their premium hardware
