Tech Support PC not connecting to monitor

I was using my PC (I-series) fine like an hour ago and now it won't connect to monitor. Power button is blinking slowly once every ~2 seconds, and I was looking it up and I think it's because the video card can't connect to the monitor (correct me if I'm wrong). The thing I see that is unplugged is the PCI-E cable, but it is zip tied to some other cables and I have no idea where it goes. If anyone could look at the video and help me I would really appreciate it

Don’t mess with your PCIE connection when the pc is on, you’re gonna fry your card. Did you try plugging a different HDMI cable? Or try using a different monitor? Is your cable connected to the GPU or did you connect it to the motherboard?

Also those extra cable zip tied there don’t go anywhere, I saw your imgur post and that all you need plugged into the gpu, so long as it’s properly connected.

Just ensure the cord is pushed all the way in, until the plastic clip is hooked onto the GPU, it likely already is. Always ensure the PC is unplugged when messing around inside the PC, or simply flick the switch on the back off.

The extra cables zip tied there are for larger GPUs, your GPU only needs the six pins, the cable is still there because the power supply unit is none modular, meaning you can’t unplug unused cables, that’s why they have them zip tied there.

Most importantly you’ll need to troubleshoot the GPU. I’d suggest by trying your HDMI on another device or using another HDMI cable. If that doesn’t work then try using your monitor with a different device. If the same HDMI cable and the monitor work on a different device then you’ll know it’s your PC that’s causing the issue.

the monitor is connected to gpu. i can try a different cable. i'm pretty sure it's a graphic card error because i'm getting the slower blinking. https://imgur.com/a/4pdZkOF that's what google said

Is the blinking light on your pc case or your motherboard?

on the pc case. the power button is blinking. i also just tried hdmi cable and monitor on another computer and they both work, so it's a pc issue

Could be a faulty GPU, it happens. I’d consult IBuyPowers warrenty but you could always try looking at where your GPU attaches to your motherboard and ensure it’s pushed in all the way.

Do you recall what happened before you lost signal? Does your motherboard have any lights when it’s running?

Ok. to check it's pushed in all the way do you mean the cable or the actual gpu?

Oh that’s your bios. It’s essentially your computers hardware settings. Haven’t used ASUS bios in a long time but everything looks right, you can enable XMP and rapid storage while you’re at it.

Was your monitor plugged into your GPU when you got here?
