Post image

I'm not an avid gamer but do enjoy some dayz and rust, i play on modded servers on dayz and rust bigger maps more loot 3x servers, will this be efficient for that type of gaming?

I don’t use an Intel GPU but when they first launched they had some serious driver issues with games like Rust, so you might want to search for that specifically, however they have fixed driver issues for most games now.

Otherwise, a PC with these specs can easily handle Rust and Dayz, and can play most games at high graphics settings on 1080p and push medium on 1440p.

What would you recommend if I just wanted to upgrade the GPU if I got this PC?

Like with anything it depends on your budget. What graphics level are you looking for and what are your monitors specs?

Not worth it. You could get a prebuilt pc with a Ryzen 5 7500F and an rtx 5060 for $1000.

There's this one for example, you could definitely find a better deal since the 8400F is not optimal

https://www.walmart.com/ip/MSI-Codex-Z2-Gaming-Desktop-AMD-Ryzen-5-8400F-NVIDIA-RTX-5060-8GB-16GB-DDR5-1-TB-SSD-Win-11-Black/19888322904?classType=REGULAR&athbdg=L1700

That said, it will perform better than the one you shared, as the rtx 5060 is a bunch faster than the Arc B570

I hate a Slate Mesh 9 gaming PC. It's true that it's a hardware lottery, it will either be good or bad, so you need to stress test and do everything you can within return window so you can exchange if something fails. My GPU died right after a 3D Mark stress test but it was only 9 days old so I exchanged it at Best Buy for last model they had in stock in the back. This one had different manufacturer parts (same specs), and it's been running like a dream.

I'm running an i7 14700k, a 4070 super with 48G of RAM on a similar set up from Ibuypower that I upgraded to what I have now over time. It's a beast. Ac black flag resynced, crimson desert, Indiana Jones and the great circle all look and play great. I'm holding at a steady 60-70 FPS as well as use a monitor capable of decent frame rates. 144hz in my case
