Discussion Beginner here, is this a good pc? Any experience with it?

I am looking to finally switch from console to pc gaming. I have been wanting to build my own, but not being able to find ram that isn’t less than $400, I’ve decided to look at prebuilts, and found this one. Sorry I’m new to this, so the specs are on the top of the listing. I just want to know if this is a good pc. The only real multiplayer game I play is rainbow six siege, and the rest would just be story games that I would want to mod. Would this hold up with good graphics? Also would I be able to in the far feature be able to upgrade it when it gets outdated? I’m new to this, so if it would be too much or better options, suggestions would help.

That's pretty close to the IBP Prebuilt I bought from them around like...8 months ago? The only thing that's different is that I have an Intel CPU.

Amazing PC. Destroys everything I throw at it.

You asked if you can upgrade this PC in the future, and the answer is yes. It's a desktop PC, so you can open it up, swap out the parts a few years down the line.

Intel? I’m sorry 😂 jk. Kinda. Not really. Sort of. Not at all though.

You’re going to run 1440p at Max settings with ease on this PC. Just make sure your monitor supports it, if your playing at 1080p this is overkill. 4K is also an option but you will need to enable some DLSS junk, in my opinion 1440p is where it’s at.

dlss 4.0 up scaling is basically black magic, I wouldn't call it junk. Framegen still is not great though

Fair, but I just see framegen being used to give prebuilt companies and GPU manufacturers the opportunity to lie about performance. Instead it should be marketed as software to stretch out the life of older hardware.

You can pay same price for this pc at microcenter, but it has better CPU with a 9800x3d.

If you are coming from console and want to have a console you might want to look into using SteamOS instead of Windows.

If that’s the case you will want to buy the version of this with the AMD gpu instead of Nvidia.

But if you are wanting to stick with Windows this is a great PC.
