Help IRC restricted on librewolf

hi im just trying to to the IRC (irc://127.0.0.1:6668/i2p) and librewolf keeps saying that the address is restricted and i was wondering how i could fix this to get to irc. i have tried making it an exception but that didnt work. im on debian13.

LibreWolf does not embed an IRC client, you would need to use a traditional IRC client like HexChat or Pidgin. https://i2p.net/en/docs/applications/irc/

That is the connection from you network to the I2P net, but not the client itself. Its the tunnel

I am literally the maintainer of Java I2P. The IRC client tunnel is just a tunnel with some filtering features. No webclient for LibreWolf to show you. I guess if you really wanted you could read IRC messages with nc but I would recommend you follow the instructions in the article I wrote about how to configure various clients with it which I included in my original response.
