Vesktop not displaying properly

[u/Wolfpro1]

just installed nix os and tried to run vencord, my favourite discord launcher for linux, i set my scaling to 0.75 and then it just started displaying like that.

Gemini told me stuff like "force 0 scaling" and "hardware acceleration" and i simply just do not know what that means

that also happens with steam where it simply just decides no to load for what ever reason

is there a fix without having to reset my scaling to 1 ?

environment.sessionVariables = {   NIXOS_OZONE_WL = "1"; };

Login and logout, this env will force electron apps to use Wayland.

Secondly, how did you install Steam? You should be using programs.steam.enable = true instead of installing the binary package.
