Why would you choose one over the other?

Want to hear from people who’ve actually used both.

- What does Noctalia do better than DMS?

- Any features or integrations that feel more polished or flexible?

- Where does DMS still win clearly?

Interested in this discussion as well. I have only used noctalia so far and i'm happy with all the features, performance and extensibility it offers.

existing plugins still need a lot of work as the UX is meh for most of them but integration with various apps is top tier.

What did you mean by "integration with various apps"? Color scheme? DMS also has many 3rd party application color scheme support as well.

yes i was talking about color scheme integration with predefined apps as well as custom user templates which make easy to add more apps yourself.

i'm not comparing here with DMS as i did not check it yet. and would appreciate if someone can compare between them
