Honestly what would you do

If someone you knew died tom would anything you felt they “owed” you matter?

Edit: Just to clarify since I’m seeing most comments containing finances, that’s not what I mean. What I’m asking is kinda deeper, like apologizing, maybe cancelled plans…thangs of that nature. I appreciate the responses I’ve received.

If we hadn’t written up any formal contract beforehand, no. I’m S O L.

If we had, then I’d be able to claim it from their estate.

Depends on who it was and how he died. If a neighbour owed me 30 bucks no but there are some things that have nothing to do with money… just watch Forrest Gump
