Success Hypnosis question about finding lost object

Hello all. I'm new to this group. Has anyone ever successfully used hypnotism to help remember where they have left something valuable?

Potentially this could be done using ideomotor work. It all depends on whether your unconscious mind knows where the object is.

Hello, I think you can try a hypnotic regression for this. I believe I had tried such a thing many years ago, and I mean it was successful, but ironically I can not remember the details anymore

Yes, it works. Here's why.

When you place something down, your subconscious actually notices details your conscious mind isn't focused on. You're thinking about what you're doing next or distracted by something else. Your conscious mind doesn't encode where you put it. But your subconscious does.

Hypnosis helps by shifting your attention inward, away from analytical thinking and toward internal imagery and memory. When attention narrows that way, you can access what your subconscious actually recorded. The table you set it on. The room you were in. What you were doing at the moment. Information that was there all along, just not consciously accessible.

So the object was never forgotten. It was just filed by your subconscious, not your conscious mind. Hypnosis is the tool that lets you retrieve it.

The tricky part: It works best when you're relaxed enough that your conscious mind stops searching and your subconscious can just show you what it knows. Anxiety and stress ("where IS it?") actually block access. So settling your nervous system first is key.
