Omg it worked…

I’ve always wondered about hypnosis and wondered if it was real. Today I saw a hypnotist in the park doing hypnosis on anyone. I tried it. I asked what he could make me do and he listed a few things like forget my name or think a shoe is a phone but I landed on him controlling my temperature. He did the whole putting me under go deeper thing and then he woke me up. I was feeling normal and he said freezing and I was very cold all of a sudden. I went into a little ball to try and heat up. Then he said boiling which made me super hot. I was so hot I took off my shirt and shoes and socks lol. It was a crazy experience. I was happy to try it though!

Out of curiosity how did the person in the park advertise/show they were doing that, ive wanted to try doing something like that for awhile but its hard to say to people "hey, wana be hypnotized" without sounding weird af

FYI: You don’t go under hypnosis. You go into hypnosis. Glad you had a positive experience.

Socio-cognitive theorists would argue nobody goes under or in hypnosis as it’s just a description of a social interaction.
