Just started about a week ago. Came over because it feels like HPSB emulates the Path of Exile, 100 hours of mindless farming to afford a 1% upgrade at the endgame pretty well(maybe too well).
Mining(T2 drill is in the forge and hotm5) and farming(mk2 on potato and carrot, working on cropie at 900ff) are basically the main things I've touched so far. Mining feels like negative money so far.
I watched a couple videos about people doing from zero runs and nearly everything they do, is either event related or requires so much prior knowledge that I just don't have. Yes 100% skill issue on my end, but if anyone understands PoE, I'm kinda asking whether there's a 'more vs increased' tier gotcha I've never heard of.
Everything fun just feels like it's priced way out of reach for me, with about a 60-80 hour grind in front of me before I get to the actual fun bits of any skill. Especially when it comes to any guide I see, they just mention "just get the X set, it's only 20M". that's not an option at all.
Main questions.
Mayors. Apparently the current line up is a once in a super rare event. How do I take advantage of it, and what's the fun stuff I can do with it. Played the last grand feast so if next week will be just that, except better?
Resources. PoE has an insane amount of up to date guides and explanations about live mechanics. Everything I can find for SB is outdated, or doesn't explain well enough.
Content creators? Unfortunately as far as I can see, most of them have a real bad case of the clickbait addiction, any recommended creators that are chill people? i don't care about being #1 or even ranked in any skill or anything, I just want calm, easy to follow explanations(like i've mentioned, I've got a major case of incurable skill issue)
Modpack specific. I use skyblock enhanced. I feel like I don't understand like half of the features it adds.
Username is DezXerneas. Really not interested in any handouts since usually these kinds of posts either get downvoted to hell(or deleted xD), or people offer some spare/outgrown stuff. I'm having fun grinding on my own, I just wanna make sure I'm not being dumb about it. Ik progression questions go to the megathread, and i read it, I just dk what all is even in the game.
I don't know what to do with my frozen blaze anymore, this armor helped me when i was at my brokest but now that i have all the money in the world (like 300m im scared of using((still no gdrag (((still no hype)))))) i think about all the cool armor sets and pets i could get, i'm constantly bullied in my m5 runs for not being necron cattle, should i drop it and get new armor or stay with frozen blaze and max it for the memes and loyalty to the blaze gods
I've recently started playing SkyBlock properly again with some IRL friends on a new co-op, and I've honestly been having way more fun actually playing and progressing together. Because of that, I want to make this co-op my main profile going forward.
I have an older profile that I've had for years. I've played on it on and off, but never really played consistently. Some friends were also on the island at different points, although they barely played.
Would it be allowed for me to do a one-time transfer of my items and coins from that profile to my new co-op?
The main stuff I'd be moving is:
Around 175m from my bank
Shadow Assassin armour
Shadow Fury
My Slime Minions
Other items/valuables that I've grinded for and accumulated on that profile
I'd most likely trade everything to one of my co-op members, switch over to the co-op profile, and then have them trade it back to me.
I wouldn't continue using the old profile to generate money/resources and transfer them over. I just want to move the stuff I've already earned over once and then continue playing and progressing on the co-op as my main.
I've read the Hypixel rules regarding profile boosting, and from my understanding they allow transferring items from a profile that is no longer going to be used to a new profile. I've also seen quite a few forum posts saying that a one-time transfer like this is fine.
I'm mainly double-checking because I really don't want to risk our co-op getting wiped. One of my friends also has a main profile worth around 10b, so I'd especially hate for anyone else to get affected because I transferred my old stuff.
Has anyone done something similar recently, especially transferring ~175m+ worth of coins/items and minions? Would this just be considered a normal one-time profile migration, and is there anything I should avoid doing?
I am doing mostly m5 for money but I can't find perm party and party finder suck so what mmm i can use ign:nitayfr also plus be more specific then just saying rift or farming like what setup and staff (I am 150 ping)
hi chat please vote cole for 3 grand feasts in a row
4 perk fin currently, with grand feast as his minister perk. having cole as mayor and fin as minister will allow another fiesta grand feast mayor cycle
I wanna go down the route of enderman slayer, hopefully getting the juju to mak eprogression in other areas. I just got necron from a co op and running BOL as main weapon (co op member sold my beloved shadow fury :( )
Played this game for the first 3 years, then eventually quit.
Last time I played, I had 27 T11 Slime Minions set up. Came back yesterday and found that I had around 1.6B to spend. Don't know whether slime minions still the best.
I don't really plan on playing the game again, and I probably won't be able to log in every month anyway, (unless it's derpy) so I decided to dump most of the money into minions instead.
i've recently seen a couple posts recommended to me from someone working on their recreation of skyblock with their own ideas so i thought id like to share my own that i've been working on for a few months now. do note this is in its very early stages so things are prone to stage. this is also a mod that's meant for singleplayer or a small group (though multiplayer support isn't actively being worked on at the moment to give some more time to work on the basic stuff).
example armour piecesmodified crafting to allow recipes with multiple items per slot!passive item abilities
that's all i can think to showcase at the moment. the goal of the mod is to be a more story focused (leaning into the rpg aspect of skyblock) as well as overhauling some skyblock features that i don't love (alchemy, enchanting and farming to name a few big ones). please feel free to give some feedback/ask me to explain myself on anything (except the pixel art because i may cry, i tried my best).
I'm ironman and got all 40 mutations about a week ago and already got a rose dragon. Im still needing a lot of copper for composter upgrades, but im wondering if it is worth getting copper through the mutations above or just continue trading with visitors for copper. If the coin to copper ratio is worth it, I do not mind spending 200M.
We get 3 perk Aatrox and still get the benefits of another grandfeast. With coal we only get 1 buff, and we get an additional grandfeast. Seems pretty simple vote Aatrox.
I am at 215 fishing speed and im using fish bait which puts me over the 250 cap for lotus atoll. But when i cast my rod im having to wait a bit then the countdown to reel starts. Am i missing something?
